My only advise would be to consider all options, even online dating. My wife and I were both in similar situations, both tired and frustrated of the datig scene in the singles wards and both tried online datting and met each other within a week of trying it out. We corresponded for a couple months and realized we went to the same institute class. I know we would have never just met at institute, God works in mysterious ways.
